Swedish Wallander - Series 1klcontactcheck In 2004-2005, Yellow Bird produced the first series of 13 Swedish films about detective Kurt Wallander, based on the novel Before the frost by world renowned author Henning Mankell and on new stories written by him. The films were co-produced together with TV4 in Sweden, ARD Degeto in Germany, Canal+ and the distributor SF.
